Display styles

Each group's option can be shown in one of several styles. You pick the style per group under Choose display style, and you set it separately for Product page display and Collection page display.

The display styles: Auto image swatch, Custom swatch, Pill swatch, Swatch card, Button, and Dropdown
The available display styles

Auto image swatch

Uses each product's image automatically as the swatch thumbnail - nearly zero setup. Best for most catalogs where the product image is the clearest cue.

Custom swatch

You choose the swatch yourself for each product (an image or a color). Best when you want full control over what each swatch shows.

Pill swatch

A pill-shaped label for each product. Best for word-based options like material or size where a short label reads clearly.

Swatch card

A richer card per product showing image, name, and price together. Best for premium presentations where each option deserves more room.

Button

A simple text button per product. Best for non-visual options where words are clearer than an image.

A compact dropdown listing each product. Best when a group has many products and you want to save space.

You can also choose No show for a surface (for example, show swatches on the product page but not on collection cards).
