Multi-option groups (Color + Size)

A multi-option group lets shoppers choose along more than one dimension - for example Color and Size - where each combination is a separate product.

When to use it

Use Build by several options when your products vary by two attributes and you sell each combination as its own product (e.g. Shirt Blue / S, Shirt Blue / M, Shirt Red / S …).

Set it up

Choose "Build by several options"

Go to Group products → Create group → Build by several options (Manual Create).

Define two options, then map each product to its combination

Add your options

Under Options, name each option (e.g. Color and Size) - use + Add option to add more than two.

Map each product to a combination

For every product in the group, set which Color and which Size it represents. OPTIS resolves the right product when a shopper picks a combination.

Save and preview

Click Save. On the storefront the shopper sees two selectors; choosing Blue + M opens the matching product.

Availability aware: combinations that don't exist (or are sold out) are greyed out or marked, just like native Shopify variants. See Stock & availability.

Editing a multi-option group later? Re-open it in the same multi-option editor so the option mapping is preserved.
