Get your first combined listing live in three steps.

Enable the app embed

OPTIS renders your groups through an app embed in your theme. It must be turned on for swatches to appear on the storefront.

• In the Home → Setup guide, click Activate the app (Step 1).

→ You'll be taken to App embeds in the Shopify Theme Editor.

• Turn on the OPTIS Combined Listings toggle and click Save.

Tip (recommended for testing): enable the app embed on a draft theme first (Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit code is not needed - use Customize → App embeds). This lets you test without affecting your live store.

Create your first group

• Go to Group products → Create group (or Setup guide → Create your first product group).

• Pick Build by one option, give the group an Option name (e.g. Color), add the products that belong together, and click Save.

See it on your storefront

• Open any product in the group on your storefront - you'll see the swatch selector. Clicking a swatch switches to that product.

• To show swatches on collection pages too, complete Step 3 - Add the app block from the Setup guide.
