Core features overview

OPTIS Combined Listings has four ways to build groups, plus storefront display and settings. Here's the map.

Everything starts from Group products β†’ Create group

1. Manual groups

You pick the exact products and the order yourself. Best when you want full control over a small number of curated groups.

  • Build by one option - one swatch row (e.g. Color).

  • Build by several options - multi-option groups (e.g. Color + Size).

2. Auto Groups (rule-based)

You define a rule, and OPTIS gathers the matching products for you - then keeps the group in sync automatically whenever products change.

  • Match by product tag, collection, vendor, product type, title pattern, or metafield.

3. Bulk tools

Create many groups at once.

  • Bulk group by title pattern - scan your whole catalog and group products that share a base title.

  • Import / Export CSV - manage groups in a spreadsheet.

4. Split products

Turn one variant-based product into separate products (one per variant), then auto-combine them into a group - so each variant gets its own URL and SEO.

  • Where groups appear - product pages and collection pages. Learn more

  • Global settings & Custom CSS - store-wide look and feel. Learn more

Not sure where to start? If your products already share a tag or collection, use Auto Groups - it's the least work and stays up to date on its own. For a few hand-picked groups, use Manual.
