Import & export groups (CSV)

Manage your groups in a spreadsheet. Export to back up or edit in bulk, Import to create or update many groups at once.

Export your groups to a CSV, edit, and import them back

Export CSV

• From the Product groups page actions, click Export CSV.

• You get one spreadsheet listing every group, its products, and the option values.

• Use it as a backup or as the starting point for bulk edits.

Import CSV

• Click Import CSV and upload your file.

• OPTIS creates new groups and updates existing ones based on the rows.

Start from an export

The easiest way to get the format right is to Export first, edit that file, and import it back.

Edit in your spreadsheet

Each row maps a product to a group + option name + value. Add, change, or remove rows as needed.

Import

Upload the edited file. Review the result on the Product groups page.

Keep the header row and column names from the exported file. Match products by their handle exactly as exported so OPTIS can find them.

Importing is a great way to migrate groups between stores - export from one, import into another.
